Sex motivation: Trent

Trent is not sexually motivated.

He enjoys making love, because he considers it a beautiful act of love, likes to make his partner feel good, and likes to feel closer to them emotionally; however, he doesn't get hard unless he's around someone he genuinely loves, or someone he hates enough to picture murdering. (This is an early clue that he had feelings for Sebastian about which he may have been in denial: Just before the boys went to college, they started modeling together for an adult store; Trent had a dildo cast after him, which wouldn't have been possible unless he was in love with Sebastian. However, his love for Rebecca took him by surprise and temporarily overpowered his love for his closest friend.)

REBECCA. He was eager to make love to Rebecca, but while he was physically affectionate and pampering towards her, he didn't broach the idea of sex until after she had asked him. He was happy to please her and was thrilled that she enjoyed her time in bed with him. Due to his lack of relationship degradation mechanics, he assumed they were still on lovemaking terms when he went to visit her over a year later and excitedly suggested sex after a night of playing board games together (she declined). He feels incredibly close to her and is willing to do anything she asks of him in bed. His favorite sexual activity with Rebecca is going down on her, since that brought her the most pleasure the first time they were together. They do play D/s games, but he's exceedingly gentle with her and has been horrified the one or two times he's gotten overly excited and almost hurt her. He's expressed a fetish for period sex (although he may have been trolling her at the time, considering the context in canon) and a subtle fixation on feet (gave her a foot massage and a pedicure, and stole one of each of her socks since she moved to West Covina).

NATHANIEL. Trent initially disliked Nathaniel, as he was an obvious rival for Rebecca's affection and attention. The first time he saw Nathaniel and Rebecca interact (via surveillance), he offhandedly asked Sebastian if Nathaniel would be good in bed, but the question was motivated by jealousy rather than lust. He enjoyed flirting with Nathaniel to fluster him, he had fantasies about torturing and murdering Nathaniel and fucking his corpse, and he did at one point put Nathaniel in the hospital and get him off while Nathaniel was incapacitated. (He also discovered that, while he may be bi, he does not like performing oral sex on men.) However, he wasn't seriously sexually interested in Nathaniel until after Nathaniel confessed he had developed feelings for Trent, following that assault.

Even so, he was perfectly content to just snuggle with Nathaniel, hold hands, and occasionally shower together. He slept next to Nathaniel at least once before they officially got together, but he showed no interest in going farther than cuddling. However, he did tease Nathaniel just about every chance he got, because he secretly enjoyed seeing Nathaniel getting flustered over (and, via surveillance, seeing Nathaniel masturbate to) him.

SEBASTIAN. Trent considers himself a simple person, but his feelings for Sebastian have always been complex. They met when Trent was 7 and Sebastian was 8, both about to go into second grade. Trent tutored Sebastian and protected him from bullies, including Sebastian's mother, and Sebastian quickly grew attached to him. They spent as much time together as they could get away with and probably developed a mutual puppy crush as children. In middle school, Sebastian gave him his first kiss, and Trent definitely enjoyed it. In high school, he let Sebastian experiment with him to a degree, on the condition that Sebastian would let Trent keep his virginity until they were adults. It's ambiguous if he was aware yet that Sebastian had fallen in love with him.

To be clear, he never touched Sebastian intimately until they were in their early 30s. They cuddled and showered together constantly, and slept in the same bed more often than not, but Trent never laid a hand-- or anything else-- below Sebastian's waist until Sebastian lost patience with Trent's relationship with Nathaniel and made him.

Perhaps because they were so close, to the exclusion of other friendships and relationships, Trent did not develop a frame of reference for what counts as friendly behavior and what signifies more. He genuinely thought that, even with Sebastian regularly making out with and fondling him, they were just friends. Although he may have wanted to be more, he never broached the subject because he was afraid that, if they got together too soon in life, they would end up like Trent's divorced parents, a fear that intensified when Trent and Sebastian met the half-sister his father had conceived with his mother's sister.

Sebastian did tell Trent not to try showering, cuddling with, or kissing other men because they wouldn't take it well, but Trent assumed it was because they weren't as close friends with him as Sebastian was; after Trent friend-zoned Nathaniel, he was more than comfortable doing those things with Nathaniel, much to Rebecca's fury.

Their first time having sex was initiated/forced by Sebastian, who blackmailed Trent into pleasuring him out of fear that Trent would turn him down otherwise to avoid angering Rebecca. Trent did enjoy being Sebastian's sex slave at least a little bit, enough to forgive him and begin a relationship with him, but being forced into it did cause him some temporary trauma... which was easily resolved, for some reason. After Rebecca rescued Trent, Sebastian got into drag and cozied up to Trent as his feminine alter ego, Serena Sublime. Trent is attracted to Serena and-- predictably-- enjoyed watching Serena and Rebecca make out on a dare. He started dating Serena until Rebecca found out and, surprisingly, gave him the green light to date Sebastian. He's supportive of Serena, but he's far more attracted to Sebastian because he feels Sebastian is a more authentic expression of who his friend is, while he sees Serena as a ploy to get his attention. However, he's perfectly comfortable in bed with either.

LUCIFER (Side chat - Bex). Lucifer consensually penetrated Trent as a "punishment" for Trent expressing jealousy of Xander's and Sebastian's relationship in front of him. Trent enjoyed the experience, but probably wouldn't repeat it.

(Main fic) Trent has had a foursome with Rebecca, Sebastian, and Lucifer; and a threesome with Rebecca and Lucifer; but he has not touched Lucifer in either of those encounters; the focus was mainly on Rebecca.

XANDER (Side chat - Bex). Xander ...more-or-less consensually... penetrated Trent as part of a power game. The two men are just about evenly matched in terms of physical strength; however, Xander is cold to the touch and that worked to his advantage when getting Trent to let Xander bed him. Trent reportedly enjoyed the experience, but regrets it because it hurt Nathaniel's feelings. He's adamant about not sleeping with Xander again unless Nathaniel is invited to join them. They have not touched each other in the main fic.

FAUSTUS (Side chat - Bex). As an Incubus under Lucifer's thrall, stabbed Faustus and used the blood as lubricant, then fucked him as punishment for calling Sebastian a whore. Would not have touched him if not for the thrall, and has not touched him in main fic.

GEORGE (Side chat - Bex). Hooked up with George and Nathaniel together in side chat. Probably wouldn't sleep with him alone. Not allowed to Dom for George anymore because he almost killed George the first time.

YOUR CHARACTER. Trent is not open to a romantic or sexual relationship with anyone else at this time. He is also vastly more informed about what constitutes platonic friendship than he used to be. He will happily cuddle with anyone, but the second they start trying to get sexual with him, Trent will bring it back into the friend zone.

Speaking as the admin, if your character tries to rape my character, or guilt trip him into sex, or anything along those lines, I will immediately delete you and cut contact going forward. I do not want this to become an issue, so I'm warning you right now: I only do dub-con/non-con with Bex. We've known each other for years and I trust her as a cowriter and a friend; however, that's still something she and I would work out behind the scenes.
