it, but I can't, okay? I don't know why." Turning back to Sigefrid, Serena
said, "Look, can you at least let me heal you?"
Sigefrid sort of eyed her for a few moment. Nostril
slightly twitching before his eyes moved back towards the other male as if for
help. Only this time Skorpa moved to hop up "Good luck! I'm not repeating
what I already told your stupid ass" He told Sigefrid smartly before
moving to head off. Then pausing he chuckled "Oh but if you don't Erik is
sure to finally notice and good luck with that drama" He added snickering
before moving to finally leave the room.
Sighing Sigefrid’s eyes rolled "Fine ...."
He mumbled towards the female biting his inner lip in thought as he sort of
stared off sulking.
Serena smiled at him, delighted. "Yay," she
chirped. Then she lay down, face down, and gestured to Trent to lift her top.
"See the feather on my back?" she asked. It
was unmistakable: a large white feather that looked to have been tattooed
halfway up her spine, starting at her lower back. It was one of Lucifer's
feathers, embedded into her skin, and provided angelic healing to prevent her
from getting sick or permanently injured. "I know it sounds weird, but put
your shoulder against the feather. It should heal within a few seconds."
Eyeing her very skeptically Sigefrid now seemed a bit
unsure and looked for a moment after the direction the other male had gone
before heaving an annoyed sigh. "Yeah.... Yeah that sounds weird as shit.
Is that it? Just has to touch the wound?" He asked looking a bit unsure
still.
"Yes. I know how it sounds, but I'll explain
after." She was remarkably more relaxed than she'd been before, extensions
spilling over her upper back and shoulders as she peeked through them, smiling
tenderly at him.
Trent narrowed his eyes briefly at her expression,
then decided to distract himself. "What did your friend tell you, and
what's this about Erik and drama?" he asked. He liked to know things.
"Brother.... " Sigefrid stated rather
blandly before biting his lower lip for a moment and finally working up the
courage to grab the bottom of his shirt despite the ache and pain and letting
out a growl in pain soon dropped the shirt onto the floor before slowly moving
over towards where Serene was laying and moving to sit beside her for a moment
and taking a breath. Yeah this was definitely gonna be a bit awkward.
"As far as Skorpa.... Well that's between me and
the old geezer now ain't it" He added a bit smartly back to Trent before
finally moving to shift himself to move over Serene and slowly lowered himself
wincing a bit and arm very shaky until he finally just gave up trying not to
lay on her and soon ended up sinking down on top of her.
Trent didn't respond. He was still curious, but he
wasn't nearly as pushy as his friend.
Serena cooed softly, happily, as she felt the weight
of Sigefrid's body on top of her. She felt the feather in her back heat
slightly as it healed his wound and, though she was glad to be able to do this,
she was a little bit sorry that it would heal so quickly. She liked the feel of
him against her, regardless of the circumstances.
"Thank the gods for Luci," she murmured,
fully aware of the irony of her statement.
Laying there for a moment Sigefrid's eyes actually
ended up falling shut for a moment his breath a bit shallow. However finally
starting to feel better he slowly pushed up from where he lay his eyes going
down to where the wound had been a bit curious for a moment. Shit! Slowly
moving to sit again his hand lightly touched it a bit impressed for the moment.
Serena rolled over and sat up when she felt him move
off of her, and gazed at him adoringly. "Better?" she asked.
Nodding slowly he sighed. "Yeah... Thanks"
he muttered tiredly.
She beamed at him and then pecked his cheek.
"Good!" Then she moved back, cuddling against Trent, who
automatically wrapped his arms around her, holding her protectively while
watching Sigefrid with an unreadable expression.
Moving to stand Sigefrid moved to grab his shirt
finally and heaved a sigh. "See yu.... Maybe" He muttered the last
part before moving to walk off hardly even casting either of them another look
and only trying to walk faster once he hit the nearby door.
"I look forward to it!" she called after
him, relaxing into Trent's embrace, completely oblivious to Trent's calculating
expression as he watched Sigefrid leave.
