Trent: "Sigefrid, was it? Who wanted to know if I wear a fanny pack? No. But I found something even better!"
"Good for you ..... You can walk
around looking like someone's fucking backpack!" Sigefrid growled a bit
rolling his eyes.
Trent smiled, endeared by the standoffish
man. "Backpack shorts," he corrected cheerfully. "And they're
not for me, they're for you! Clearly you're not as secure as I am. I can wear
anything and still feel like a man, but you... you seem very self-conscious;
otherwise, why would you be so critical of others? Or, put another way... I
dare you. And if you refuse, you're chicken."
Sigefrid immediately jaw dropped and looked
at the other male as if he'd just grown legs where his head was supposed to be.
"Well Bok Bok I guess!!! FUCK that! And keep talking little man I may have
to remove your ugly head and add it to my trophy collection" He warned
looking both like he wanted to laugh and be mad almost at the same time at this
point.
"You're welcome to try," Trent
chirped. "But until you can consider yourself a scary, scary sexy man
while wearing absolutely anything, you'll always have to wonder if your image
is manly enough, and that takes a lot of extra thought that you could be
putting somewhere else." He clapped a hand on the other man's shoulder.
"Think about it."
Sigefrid just sort of stared at him for a
long moment as if actually trying to figure something out. However after a few
moments he started snickering. "It doesn't take much thought to choose not
to look like an idiot actually. But thank you for your concern" He smarted
still snickering as he shook his head.
"It takes more thought than most
people have," said Trent, and it was clear he wasn't talking about himself
or Sigefrid, but rather the average man who had never been taught to wear a
suit, or even a blazer, in public and chose to wear sweatpants or jeans with
holes or loose trousers that hang below the butt.
He gestured to Sigefrid. "Don't get me wrong. I like what you're wearing. You're stylish in your way. I just wanted to give you a hard time because you didn't like my turtleneck."
